WE CARE
"As producers of green energy we are passionate about our commitment to the environment, people and the wider community"
Local Ecosystem
Our group's values instill upon us an environment-first attitude as it is our belief to improve the ecosystem and environment in and around our plants from before the site was developed. In all our plants we are committed to positive environmental management where we plant native species of trees and also restore water bodies.
We have created dedicated biodiversity areas on-site, for example, water gardens and ponds at our Madhavaram plant in Chennai with bird roosting stations. In all our plants we have placed a great emphasis on ground-water management where we use recharging pits and shafts to increase the ground-water table around the plant.
Cleaner City
We work in tandem with our partners (corporations and municipalities) to reduce the amount of organic wet waste being burnt and getting dumped in landfills. It is instead used to produce clean energy to power India's growth.
As a result of our partnership with the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), our 6 plants in Chennai will reduce 840 tons daily inflow of organic wet waste to Chennai corporation landfills and in turn reduce landfill burnings and local ecosystem degradation.
Pollution
Our group's core mission is to do our part in helping government, corporations transition from fossil fuels and chemical fertilizers and promote the usage of green renewable energy. We also strive to improve local air quality by reducing illegal waste burning.
Our 6 plants in Chennai will produce ~1250 tons of biogas and ~6100 tons of green fertilizers every year and Mahasakthi Bio-Enercon is committed to ensuring easy access and availability to interested parties.
Our People
We place great importance on training and equipping people for the future. We aim to add to the skill sets of our operators and engineers with a combination of targeted training and regular meetings to share best practices.
We are focused on training a valued task force with importance to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management and adhering to relevant environmental legislation.
